The Birwatching Tourism Round Table welcomed 2012 with its series of workshops   during all year.   The topics   will be about birdwatching tourism, birds, environmental education, birdwatching marketing, birdwatching packages tours, identifying birds by their shapes, singing, and other characteristics and many more.

As you might know, Guatemala has a potential as a site for birding and birdwatching activities. Every year,on August, in the heart of the British countryside it’s held  the British Birdwatching Fair at Rutland Water in England, which is described as the biggest birdwatching fair  in the world.

The National Birdwatching Round Table is arranging its entry and participation at the fair as part of its strategic actions in order to promote the birdwatching activities.

We invite you to acquire the material and books that the NBRT is promoting.  This material contains numerous data and valuable information of the birdwatching activities and sites in Guatemala. It also contains information of the most common ecosystems and biomes in which the birding activities are developed.

Since its creation in 2004,   the NBRT has been working in the elaboration and generation   of material and information about the potential sites to develop birdwatching and the activities that it implies. It has also been working in generating the technical and scientific information regarding birds of Guatemala and their habitat.
